2. Number of layers on the board

• Compared to single-layer FPC, double-sided boards have two layers of copper foil, increased vias, and formed conductive paths. They are generally used in mobile phones,automotive instruments and other products.

3. Solder mask color
The solder mask colors of FPC are yellow, black, and white. Suggest using yellow,Yellow film is suitable for the vast majority of products,such as various cable products. Black film is commonly used in high-end or light absorbing products,such as cars, mobile phones, LED displays, etc. White film has an additional layer of white coating compared to yellow film, and is often used in products that require reflection,such as lighting fixtures, LED displays, medical beauty products, etc.

4. Copper foil thickness

• Precision FPC single panel options include 18um (0.5oz) and 35um (1oz);
• The precision FPC double-layer board can be selected from 12um (0.33oz),18um (0.5oz),and 35um (1oz).
• Ordinary FPC single panel can choose 18um/25um/35um (1oz)/50um;
• Ordinary FPC double-layer boards can be selected from 18-25um,25-25um,35-35um,or 35-70um.

5. Minimum line width/line spacing
Under normal circumstances, the smaller the difficulty, the higher the defect rate, and it is generally recommended to use at least 3mil.
